I really enjoyed this book. Just the right amount of mysticism with a story about a family over the generations. I did get confused at one point when most of the people were alive because a lot of the men have the same names, however, the family tree in the beginning of the book helped me keep things straight. It was a sad and touching story. I'd recommend it to most people.

After reading this book I wanted to kiss Gabriel Garcia Marquez on the mouth.
This is a great book, but a lot of work to keep all the characters and their actions straight.
