This time, for my re-read of Pride and Prejudice I also read all the critical essays in the back of my Norton Critical Edition. Pretty ok, one is heavily reliant on Freudian theory, however, which was probably outdated at the time of the essay’s writing and has aged even less well since then.
About Pride and Prejudice itself there is little to add to to my previous five-star ratings except that this time I paid attention to all Mrs. Gardiner’s sections and that lady is pretty perceptive.

Strangely enough, I never added P&P to my Goodreads. A lamentable oversight since it is one of my favorite books. Ever.
