Beautifully written, harrowing, well-researched, and clever story about the Underground Railroad as a literal railroad. I wanted to know more about the railroad itself, but I'm glad I got so much of Cora's story. I'll be thinking about this book for a long time.

It more than lives up to all the hype. HIGHLY recommend.
Finally finished a book! And it was so good.
Not necessarily an enjoyable read, but a well-written and researched novel.
