What Members Thought

I started this book ages ago. Ages! Finishing it became something of a matter of bloody-mindedness more than anything else. It was ok, I suppose. Basically a thousand page illustration of Tolstoy's belief that stuff happens and no one can really do anything about it. A Marxist parable, if you will. The best part of having read it is to dazzle (or bore) your friends bragging that you had read it.
