What Members Thought
I started this book ages ago. Ages! Finishing it became something of a matter of bloody-mindedness more than anything else. It was ok, I suppose. Basically a thousand page illustration of Tolstoy's belief that stuff happens and no one can really do anything about it. A Marxist parable, if you will. The best part of having read it is to dazzle (or bore) your friends bragging that you had read it.

Some books you want to read, and some you want to have read. This is one of the latter. The Peace parts were better than the War.
