Let me preface this by saying that I could happily read any book set in a prep school or elite New England liberal arts schools. This is probably out of my own fascination with American class issues and romantic notions of old money and the value of simple meals and cigarettes. This book was....weird.
There's something about this one... Maybe it's that I know that part of Vermont a bit, or that the description of Henry moving Bunny's head on its broken stem reminds me of too many first aid and lifeguard practices, but I find the book disturbing and fascinating all at once.
