Wow!! I picked up this book on a bit of a lark at a local discount bookstore, but I loved every word of it. From the first page, Jahren captivated me with her prose. If she wasn't such a clearly brilliant scientist I would strenuously argue she should be a writer full time. This book made me remember why I love beautifully written novels (I've been on a nonfiction kick for awhile). Seriously friends, read this.
