I really wanted to like this one more than I did. The author was so angry. Understandable given her circumstances, but still. It was long, drawn out and hard to follow. I liked reading Lolita, but not Reading Lolita in Tehran.
Iran - I had a hard time getting into this, but once I got in, I was hooked. Some of it is difficult to read, especially knowing that she's recounting real people's experiences, but it's definitely worth the effort. My favorite section was the discussion of Pride and Prejudice; I need to go back to reread it to remember why....
