Where the Mountain Meets the Moon is a quietly beautiful book. Its mixture of folk tales, journeying, family dynamics and friendship is a potent one. And it's all presented in a package that could not be more beautiful - old timey frontispieces adorn each chapter, full color illustrations are scattered here and there and the font for the folk tales is gorgeous. This is a book that pays attention to detail and was made to be beautiful all the way through.

I'm a big fan of well-written children's books and this one definitely does not disappoint. This one reminded me a lot of The Alchemist which is one of my favorite books.

This is a beautiful book of a young girl's journey to find happiness and fortune for her family. It is a gentle, magical read, a great read aloud choice for younger children too. I enjoyed the story layers and the sweet generosity of Minli. The pictures and illustrations add to the magic of the whole book.

Delightful story about a girl on a quest with a dragon. This book is a love letter to stories and gratitude, and I dug it.

Very sweet children's book. The back matter was very nice as well. This would have been better in a print book than on my kindle- but the images worked even without color. Lovely message, and solid story-telling.
