What Members Thought
Interesting travelogue/popular history of Central Asian countries. There were some misspellings and textual errors, and the book could have used another line edit. The author studied social anthropology and takes an anthropological view of the area but her visits to each country were brief and she didn't deeply embed in the countries so her viewpoint was of an outsider. I found learning about each country interesting but I felt the book could have used an index and more detailed source notes. It
