ahhh...this is indeed a classic book. but i guess you need a special mood to digest it. and probably my mood is not that ready to face a dark world where all books are banned and burned and television becomes everyone's best friend. So maybe I'm being a bit unfair, I think adding one more star from my rating is probably giving this book a better justice =)

It's crazy to think this was written 60 years ago...this novel is frighteningly close to what is happening now. The true irony is how this book about censorship was banned in some schools and altered into a school-friendly format without the author knowing. This is the edition that was printed after it was fully restored to the original.
