Last year, there was an incident involving someone I care about that took place at a crowded park. I won't share any other details, as doing so might give away the climax of Liane Moriarty's latest novel. Not my favorite of Moriarty's books, and it definitely helped that I read some reviews that told me that The Thing would not be revealed until halfway through the book. I enjoy a character-driven story and this is definitely that. I think it was just the right number of characters to share the story between, too.
