Man, could Carrie Fisher write a sentence. I'm glad I listened to this on audio - I'll miss the voice she grew into, that gravelly, roughened voice that said she went through some shit times but came out the other side. May the Force Be With You, General Organa.

This isn't a behind the scenes look at the filming of the first Star Wars, and it isn't a juicy tell all of Fisher's affair with Harrison Ford. In some ways it is better and other ways worse. This begins with a brief look at Fisher's upbringing, her start in acting, and tells the entertaining story of her audition for Lucas (and oddly enough Brian DePalma). Carrie Fisher you were gone much too soon. It's so hard to believe that the vibrant voice from this audiobook is now gone from this earth.
So, Fisher wrote any number of autobiographical books; this one is primarily about the few months of filming "Star Wars," but really about her affair with Harrison Ford. I listened to the audiobook and it was too depressing for me to listen to after her passing. So I passed.
