I didn't know that Carrie Fisher was so funny! I haven't yet read anything else by her, but I will now.
I wasn't expecting what I got in this book, although the description is fairly clear. The first chapters are about getting into showbiz, beginning the shooting of Star Wars, and (ahem, spoiler alert) having an affair with an older, married costar. This absolutely needs to read--or listened to--as an audiobook. Fisher is a fantastic storyteller and reader, and Billie Lorde (her daughter) reading her Star Wars diary entries and poetry was perfect. She focused a little too much on her affair with Harrison Ford, but other than that it was delightful.

RIP Carrie Fisher.
