Returning to the Potterverse is always fun, and Chamber of Secrets has always been a personal favorite. However, as an audiobook, I had a couple of issues: 1)even while referencing Dobby's "high voice," the voice actor adopts a husky, low speech for the house elf and 2) every character who calls to "Harry" by name seems so...beseeching, even when the situation clearly doesn't warrant such emotion. A friend had purchased the first 3 books in the U.K. She traveled frequently and I picked up her mail, watered the plants, etc. On one trip I asked if I could read the 3 Harry Potter books. I was starting to hear a lot about them. From Chapter One I was hooked...I gobbled these up! The adventure continues!
