What Members Thought
Did not live up to the hype for me. I thought the story and writing were not that creative, thus not inspiring, and the ending was lame. The moral of the story seemed more wishful than real. Maybe I am jaded or something, but this book was simply not great.

This goes on my New Favorites shelf, certainly. What a beautifully written, simple, timeless story. I'd be absolutely shocked if I don't end up reading this book many more times.

A simple fable with a beautiful message...a boy goes out on a quest to fulfill his life's destiny. This should be required reading for everyone!

This was a really important book for me at the time that I read it. It is a book to revisit.
