I read this in middle school and thought it was the coolest book ever written. 20 years later, I got the audio to relive the experience, and why it's still a good book, it didn't live up to the nostalgia my 12-year-old self built up for it. But it's highly imaginative and well-written, and has a lot of interesting characters.

Also, James Franco was a great narrator for this book. He captured it really well. ...more
