This was a lot of fun, and a quick read (REALLY quick!) and it definitely fulfilled my need for a book set in the 80s (and yes the 80s nostalgia was awesome! in fact, maybe it was the best part of the book ...), but ... Not impressed. Mac is incredibly offensive and Vaughan lost me when he excused her perspective by saying, "Don't worry about it. You guys are from an effed -up time". She already got away with it once, you have to make her ignorant and homophobic a second time? ...more
