This is a magical book, in all the best ways, and made even more so by Gaiman's reading of it for the audio version. He gives a delightful voice to all the characters, as we follow Bod throughout his childhood. It had the sort of charming magic of the Harry Potter series--there's definitely danger, and scariness, and darkness, but there's a beauty to the story as well. Awe, this was so adorable! I think listening to Neil Gaiman read it himself as an audio book just added to my enjoyment too. It was absolutely charming. I loved how each little story was it's own story, but tied into the greater story. It was exciting and funny and memorable. I just loved it!

I loved reading this and imagining what it would be like to live in a graveyard and be raised by ghosts. Such a cool concept!
