I started this book with a bad taste in my mouth. I'm very unhappy with Mr. Gaiman for what he did to Susan from the Narnia stories. But I decided I could give him another chance with this book.

Based on Kipling's The Jungle Book (which is coming up soon on my To Read list) it's the story of an orphan raised by ghosts instead of jungle animals. It got a bit bogged down for me about half way through but overall it was a fun read.

This is a story of a young boy named Bod (short for Nobody) whose family is killed by a mysterious “Man named Jack” when he was a baby. Bod crawls away and escapes to safety in a graveyard, where he is taken in and raised by ghosts and other creatures of the night. But even as time goes by, Bod’s family’s killer is still around and looking for him, and he doesn’t leave jobs unfinished.
