So glad I read these graphic novels. They are a super moving glimpse into this period of U.S. history. It's so easy to glibly talk about the Civil Rights Movement, but these books brought home to me the danger and sacrifice that the people involved faced. That the narrative is interwoven with Barack Obama's inauguration is truly brilliant.

Really so good. I loved this whole series. Rest in power, John Lewis.
