That was definitely a mind blowing read. The book's world is constructed so carefully, confusing at the beginning but very satisfying at the end.

I don't quite know what to make of this book. It's objectively brilliant and beautifully written and yet it didn't really land for me. I don't read a ton of science fiction or fantasy, and this was definitely high fantasy. Lots of magic and lore. I also enjoyed the descriptions of how orogene

So I had a hard time getting into this, I think it's because it was an audiobook. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the sequels.
