This isn't the sort of book I usually read (a modern "thriller") but I raced through it in a couple days so I can't say it was terrible, because it wasn't. It's decently written (though none of the prose ever made me catch my breath, of course) and the bad guy wasn't obvious (to me) until he was. (Though I am notoriously slow on the uptake with those sorts of things.)
