Read Harder - nonfiction dealing with feminist themes.
This was the last book I read for the 2016 challenge and I definitely finished in a high note. I think I'm now a fan of the personal essay and I'm definitely a fan of Roxane Gay. Sadly I'm not on Twitter or I'd be getting daily updates on her smart, funny and thought-provoking ideas...

I really wanted to like this book. A couple of the essays are good, but for the most part she doesn't offer anything new here and she often contradicts herself within the same essay. Disappointing.
