What Members Thought
My opinion on this book fluctuated as I made my way through it but, by the end, I found I had a real fondness for it. Yeah, it's about a chick who gets turned into a zombie and has no clue how it happened or how to get through her new life but, at its core, it's basically a coming of age story, about a girl becoming an adult and figuring out what's important to her. This was a fun take on the zombie genre. It dragged for me in the middle (it seemed like Angel was just...always...looking for brains, over and over) but picked up at the end. Angel is an interesting character and I am interested to see where the series goes -- I will likely pick up the next one when I am looking for a fun urban fantasy to read.
