What Members Thought
This was a toss up for stars. I thought it was probably 4 stars good, but it was SOOOOO depressing that theme-wise I wanted to give it a 1. So I think 2 is a good compromise. I kept waiting for something to turn around for these folks, but it never did. And then it stopped (thankfully). I've read other Steinbeck and liked it (East of Eden), but this one made me want to slit my wrists.
