What Members Thought

I'd been meaning to read Furiously Happy for quite some time now, at the recommendation of several of my friends. I started it once, but didn't get far. I just wasn't in the mood. The second time around I enjoyed it more, especially when I was able to see past the zaniness and humor to the honest discussions about mental (and physical) illness. It sounds like Jenny deals with a lot, but her long suffering husband and daughter and her equally zany friends and family are there for her. She is luck

I LOVED THIS BOOK! How have I gone this long without Jenny Lawson on my radar? I now need to go read everything she's ever written.

This book is hilarious, but it's also very touching. Jenny writes of her mental illness with frank honesty. I listened to this while I was walking the dog, people must have thought I was crazy because I would laugh out loud (or better yet, snort!) frequently.

Not really abandoned! This book got listed twice on my "read" shelf because I read it on Kindle and added it separately to Goodreads. I loved this book and posted a review!
