Read harder 2019: epistolary book
This collection of letters between Helen Hanff and the workers of a bookstore in England are funny, touching and interesting. I’ve not read many of the books Helen bought from Marks & Co because she loved non-fiction and I love fiction. But she helped me see why she loved the books she did and I could certainly relate to her feelings about books in general.
This book reminded me of The Storied Life is AJ Fikry, so if you’ve read that, try this. Or vice versa.
