Well, I thought I had read this before, but it seems that I had not.
Still, at 53, I expect I would get something different from this story than if I had read it as a child.

I have started this book numerous times, in both English and French, but could somehow never get through it. I don't know--I see how if you read it as a child and loved it, you might feel all kinds of wonderful feelings about it, but it just doesn't strike that chord with me. Maybe I'm just one of those stupid, silly adults with no imagination. That must be it. ...more
