What Members Thought

I read this book about 11 years ago and really didn't like it, but didn't like it. So as a result, I wanted to re-read the book once again, hoping that I would probably have a different opinion about the book, but alas I didn't. I don't know why, but it really felt like it was a book about a bunch of boys who were just stranded on an island and didn't know how to organize themselves. More or less, it just frustrated me and left me scratching my head as to what the point of the book exactly was.

Well, I couldn't find my copy (which I'm fairly sure I still have but my shelf organization has failed me) so I borrowed the Overdrive copy from the library. William Golding reading it makes me feel like the ending of the book is a fait accompli, that you know how it will all end as soon as Ralph and Piggy stumble out of the forest onto the beach.
