I just read this interesting article which argues this book is the one we should be reading (instead of 1984) given the current political climate. I'm definitely intrigued, since this book, published in 1995, also seems to be YA dystopian fiction before that was such a popular genre.

It is certainly strange to read a sci-fi book published 30 years ago set to our present day. When people were suggesting which sci-fi novel we are in, most referenced this book.
