Yes yes yes. Wee!!! SF and fantasy had an adorable little baby in a future, dystopian San Francisco after a brat pack inspired nightmare of a childhood that got pretty weird. And all God's children said, "Quirky!" with little hearts dancing in their eyes. And now I want a Caddy...? ...more

This book was fantastic, in the truest sense of the word. A balance of sci-fi AND fantasy, with just enough tongue-in-cheek ridiculousness to make the book impossible to put down. I couldn't believe how fast the end came up on me; I want to read it again. There are a few references that might be out of our cultural lexicon in a few years, and the spot-dropping in SF was a bit too hip at times, but I would highly recommend reading this book, and no, it's not YA. ...more
