Lots to chew on in here. It's well written and gave me a nudge to check my privilege on a few things, but I'm sure I'll be thinking about some of the concepts in this book for a while.

I learned so much from this book! Not only was it an excellent introduction to trans issues (a fairly new subject for me), but it also taught me a great deal about feminism (something I've been studying and identifying with for years) and led me to re-think many of my previous assumptions about gender and femininity. Serano is a fantastic writer and the book is a perfect blend of political and personal. Highly, highly recommended.
