Gah! How to even review this monster? It is by turns disorienting, fascinating, irritating, hilarious, and tragic. Upon finishing, I feel as I did after watching Pulp Fiction for the first time--what just happened? what is the timeline? Because the narrative is non-chronological, the ending is rather unsatisfying. But I do understand now why people finally get to the end and immediately want to start reading it all over again. Maybe another time.
