I enjoyed seeing all the different worlds that the protagonist moves through in her lifetime. I also liked how she made some poor choices because she didn’t think things through - it felt sad, but realistic. If you like period pieces, you’ll probably enjoy this.

may take another crack at this at some point, as i don’t actively dislike it. it is just so slow, and the level of detail means i typically can only get through a handful of pages each night before nodding off.
