Tries really hard to ape the sound of a serious historical biography and maybe succeeds too well, as it's pretty dry. My too-read pile is too big right now to waste time on books I'm not enjoying, and this totally failed to capture my interest by the fifty page mark. On to better things.

I didn't expect that I would enjoy this book!! I always love Abe Lincoln and despite every crazy thing the author wrote about him in this book, I love him even more! Vampires were the cause of the Civil War? Abe Lincoln was one of the best hunters of all? Crazy, absurd, but interestingly, really convincing! Entertaining, enjoyable. A pure delight for any fantasy/historical fiction enthusiast.

Yeah this is a Molly book. I really enjoyed finding out the true history of Lincoln. Ahhh guilty pleasure reading
I think I'm just tired of rewritten novels/history with the vampire influence.
