4.5 stars. It was just about as good as people said it would be. (I didn't especially like the last page and a half, which seems to be a theme with me.) I read it in three sittings, the final one taking me to about 1am this morning. I thought it was a gripping story, with characters I rooted for and sometimes wanted to hit over the head with a frying pan myself. This book is very, very fast-paced. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. I'm done, however, with the series after reading this book. The premise of the book really bothers me personally. I AM glad that other YA readers are reading this, though, and are excited about it... it's way better written than the Twilight books!

I bought this book at 4pm on a Friday. I finished it at 1am that night. Oh. My. Goddess.
No time to write a review...I have to move on to the second book. :-)
Listened to audio version in August 2014 and it was fantastic. And there was a lot of parking lot and driveway listening whenever I got really engrossed in the story.
