Wow...evokes thoughts of BATTLE ROYALE and THUNDERDOME. I can't remember the last time a book had me staying up late and getting up early in the hopes of finishing it. I'm left really curious as to where the rest of the series will go!

I give this somewhere between 4 1/2 and 5 stars. the book did a great job in both roping me in and holding me captive and made me want to read the next book in the trilogy.
The best of Battle Royale and Lord of the Flies meets Survivor. Really engaging; couldn't put it down.
[Funny...there seem to be 2 reviews of this book, one I reviewed on & one I didn't. That shouldn't happen, but I can't figure out how to combine them. Hrm.]

Absolutely brilliant riveting book. I couldn't sleep until I finished it, and then I dreamed about it.

From the first pages I was drawn into this dark world. I cared about the characters and just wanted to know what happened next.... can't wait to read the 2nd book! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
