Full disclosure: I knew what the twist was before I started reading. And I don't just mean I knew that there was a twist (that isn't really a spoiler at this point, right?) but I knew exactly what the twist was and even how the book ended. I also was on vacation and at KMart and needed to buy something from the limited selection. This paperback was on sale. As one of the last readers of this on the planet, I didn't know how I would react to this.
On the whole, I couldn't stop reading. Is it flawe

Wow. I thoroughly enjoyed this. A reviewer on my favorite podcast said it best: this book is just fun. Creepy, ridiculous, psychotic fun. If you are my friend, and you are reading this: stop. Go read this book now. Do not read any other reviews of it, do not find out anything about it. This is one of those books that is so much better when you go into it knowing almost nothing. I've read some theories lately that spoilers are actually pointless -- that books/TV/movies/whatever should be able to ...more

This book was crazy ingenious but it seriously unsettled me. It was gripping and a total thriller and I know it was supposed to be unsettling but it was just all too much for me. Maybe a different month I would've loved it more. But this month I was just disturbed and wanted to strangle all the characters. ...more

Not much to truly say about this. It started off slow for me, however by the plot twist in the middle, I was hooked. I had to know what happened - and then about 3/4ths of the way through it became a train wreck and I couldn't turn away. ...more

I liked the first three quarters of this one, but I really didn't care for the end. The big plot twist in the middle was satisfying b/c I felt like I was reading about two people with very different points of view. But then the plot twist explained it all. I hated the ending, but I would imagine that stuff like this really happens in the real world. Sigh. ...more

I finally read this book from start to finish. Thrillers stress me out and the characters in this book were so messed up. Maybe not what you want to read on the way to Disneyland or if you don't like thrillers. ...more

This extremely well read audiobook, made all the sick, twisted, romantic, boy-meets-girl, girl-turns-psycho even more fun. Just when I thought I had figured things out, Flynn threw a monkey wrench and sent me off in search of and ending I never expected. Loved this book!
