I haven't read any other John Green books, so I can't compare this to those. I did really like this one. I also don't care what they say-I DO judge books by their covers all the time. I saw the bright sunny cover and made assumptions about the content; the copy I borrowed from the library had the washed-out blue cover with Margo looking disheveled. I wish I hadn't read this right after reading Looking for Alaska, since they are basically the same book. I liked Miles more than the underdeveloped Q character, I thought Alaska's Manic Pixie Dream Girl was more tolerable than Margo, and I ultimately preferred Alaska's story to Margo's. I did love the pranks and clues in this book - every little thing was clever, funny, and/or sweet.

Probably my least favorite John Green novel (a bit slow to develop, very talky ending) but still had its moments. I like that the manic pixie dream girl love interest turns out to be a little more realistic in the end.
