These books got more interesting to me as the plot centered less on Bella and Edward's love story (of course it's always there, but the books are slightly more interesting in terms of other plot elements that are NOT centered around how perfect Edward is and how clumsy Bella is--but oh how good she smells).

With that being said, I found Bella to be more annoying as the books progressed--especially in Eclipse, until this one. Something happens in Part 3 of this book that somewhat redeems Bella in

I have concluded that this series has much in common with eating Ding Dongs and Cheetos-it's wrong on so many levels but, once you get started, you just can't help yourself!
[spoiler alert!] Pregnancy must agree with Bella because she is much less whiney in this book. I think Stephenie Meyer is the Queen of the plot twist and horrific baby names. Cheesy, escapist fantasy. A fun read, but I can see why many of the hard-core fans were disappointed in some of the crazy plot lines. My main problem with it was the writing. The writing throughout the series was never stellar, but it seemed particularly choppy and juvenile in this book, and it took away from my enjoyment of the story.
