It’s a little harder to write a book review when you sprint through the book in 36 hours. I did spend some time in the “real” literary world between books 2 and 3 of this series, but the simple prose and heavy dialogue of these books lends itself to a very quick read.

I had to finish the trilogy, of course. I would have had more uncritical love for this series if I'd read it at, say, 13. Still good fun.
