It’s a little harder to write a book review when you sprint through the book in 36 hours. I did spend some time in the “real” literary world between books 2 and 3 of this series, but the simple prose and heavy dialogue of these books lends itself to a very quick read.

This was my favorite so far. We'll see how I feel about the whole thing after I read the last book.

I liked this one better than the first two. I think it's unfortunate, though, that these books taken on their own do not depict Bella as a strong, independent character. I think she's grown some since page 1 of Twilight, which gives me hope that I'll have more respect for her by the end of the series. At this point, though, she still seems a bit naive and a bit too dependent on Edward.

I liked this one more than the second book, though I'm definitely not on Team Jacob. Embarrassing, but such a fast read.
