I like to think I'm too old for YA stuff, but for some reason this series has captured me. Maybe it's my addiction to vampires or my schoolgirl musings of true love...or maybe it's just damn good storytelling! I do wish that somebody warned me that this book was a lot longer than the first one! I read like a demon to get this one done in a day and a half. I am still disbelieving of the romance, mostly because I think Edward is such a tool, but I am enjoying Jacob and hope that Be ...more

Not as good as the first one. It seems like this series really describes what it is like being a teenager in love. This story has Bella without Edward and her struggle to deal with it. She finds someone new in Jacob (a werewolf), but she can't let Edward go. He does return in the end, setting the stage for the triangle in Eclipse. ...more

I enjoyed this second book much more than the first one. The series is starting to get some depth to it. I'm really looking forward to getting to read the third book. ...more

Bella Swan has the worst luck of any human, ever. An OK follow-up to an OK first book. On to ECLIPSE.
