What Members Thought

I've seen this title on the library shelves for years and, while intrigued, never got around to picking it up. I wish I had a long time ago. It is the very humorous story of the "hidden years" of Jesus' life with his pal, Biff. I must say that the parts of the story set in Israel and which have some biblical basis I found to be the best and funniest. The middle section of the book, where Josh and Biff go East to Afghanistan, China, and India are interesting, but (for me) too long.

What a weird, delightful, hilarious, surprisingly touching book. Don’t know who to recommend it to, but people who know the gospel stories would be most tickled by this. However, those who are easily offended (especially as regards the Bible) should steer clear.
So glad I read it!

Possibly the dirtiest and funniest book I've ever read. My first Christopher Moore book but not my last.

Absolutely loved this, up until the ending. I felt like everything was wrapped up very abruptly, particularly the present-day story. I would have gladly read another 50 or so pages!

Didn't actually finish. Too much teenage boy humor.
