A tongue in cheek account, funny of the life of Jesus from the perspective of his loyal, trickster, horny sidekick's (Biff)perspective. It is a charismatic, silly and charming account of how people might have acted and reacted to some of Jesus Christ's actions back in the day. I highly suggest you allow yourself to let your imagination run wild and be silly to get the full entertainment value. It was a fun different take on things I learned in Bible school.

I enjoyed this book. It was good to finally get a better perspective on that big book I still haven't read - the bible. Christopher Moore did a great job of making me laugh out loud on multiple occasions and really, the concept of what was Jesus up to during his teenage years is highly underused. I'd like to believe that Christianity is based in Jesus's adventures in the Near East and Far East learning about Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam. Wouldn't that be great?
