I started this yesterday on the beach and finished it today on the couch. ...about one day of reading...I'm not sure why, but it sucked me in. I even cried by the end, surprising both myself and my husband. I think I'll want to see the movie. Thanks to Teresa for loaning me this one.

I really thought I would like this, and it started out strong. I enjoyed the format of the novel. But it got too repetitive and the ending (I won't spoil it) just seemed a bit trite.

This was pretty good. It's a very fast read and easy to see why they would want to turn it into a movie. This is the story of Emma and Dexter, who meet at the end of college. Dex starts out as a jerk and slowly turns into an extremely unlikeable character, to the point where I couldn't understand why Emma still put up with him. I also wasn't a fan of the ending, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I won't say why.
