Summer 2016 Bingo - about a disease. I've had this in my Kindle library for a while; Sara read it in high school and told me she thought I'd like it. She was right. I loved the way Plath wove the flashbacks and the current timeline together. It felt the way her reality(ies?) might be tumbling into each other and we're never sure what's real and now and what she might be dreaming. The feminism and sexuality themes are really interesting - must talk with my mother about those aspects.

Not a fan of her poetry, but I've read this at least 5 times. Such a great story about adolescence and that descent into depression. One of those books I'd recommend everyone read at least once.

I've read and reread this book several times. This is a first-rate account of what it's like to suffer from mental illness.
