I liked the beginning part (when she was in New York) and the very end when she started to feel better. The middle bit was a little tedious. Parts of it are so beautiful, you can tell it was written by a poet.

I need to preface my poor rating with the fact that I read this book on a transatlantic flight (26 hours) and the feeling of claustrophobia and helplessness in the book was suffocating. I guess I should say it is a great book to make me feel all of that, but the experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.
