Surprise, surprise. I quite like this book :) I expected the worst I guess, reading the negative reviews and all. People said it's pretentious, overrated, etc etc. But I enjoyed it immensely. I don't know about beat generation or political contents or anything - since I didn't read this in high school haha. But the travel experience itself- it's amazing. The needs to keep on going and moving. The quest to find IT. What is IT anyway? Did Sal and Dean really find IT in the end? Or is IT only there ...more
