I just finished and am completely overstimulated, an emotional wreck. I was literally blubbering for absolutely no reason for the last seventy pages of the book. Every time someone's name was even mentioned I started sobbing anew and sat there with the book and my mouth similarly agape/open and let the emotion gush forth. Christ. I think a lot of the tears can be attributed for me pausing and thinking about how awesome the Harry Potter realm is and how heartbroken I was that I only had 100 pages

Geez - was it hard to finish this book without seeing any spoilers!
I bow to Rowling's greatness.
I'll admit to finding the epilogue a bit lame but otherwise the story was fantastic. I did not expect the Christian myth to be thrown into the mix and the final battle smacked of Narnia...but that's all OK with me! I have not cried at the end of a book in years but this one had me gushing. When it was over I had this overwhelming feeling of...it's over...it's really over...there is no more to look fo ...more

No spoilers here, in case anyone who's still reading is wondering. I was almost completely pleased with this book -- and that's great, because I was really worried that I would be horribly disappointed. I found it almost entirely satisfying. I'm not sure I could have (realisticly)asked for more. Insert happy sigh here! Now, how long should I wait before re-reading?

I finished it in one sitting. The pace of the book had my pulse racing in parts. I laughed, I cried, and in the end...well I was content. I'm sad that it all had to come to an end, but thank you J. K. Rowling. What a wonderful, exhilarating, magical journey!

I loved the final chapter in harry's life. I almost didn't want to start it since that would mean once I finished it, that would be the end of any new adventures with Harry. But once I started, I couldn't put it down.

This book was one of my favorites in the series. Very hard to put down. It wrapped up a little neatly, but that's okay in children's stories. I was sad to say goodbye to these characters.
